Tow Vehicle
Our tow vehicle is a 2007 Dodge Ram 4×4 with a 5.7L Cummins Diesel engine. We picked it up off of Craigslist here in Phoenix. Yea – it’s a bit overkill for our purposes, but it sure gets the job done easily, and we’re consistently getting around 17mpg when we’re towing.

Our home away from home is a 2006 Safari 25 FB SE. We had posted a wanted ad on the Air Forums, and a couple months later someone emailed us that they had exactly what we wanted. We went out to inspect it and pick it up over in Malibu, CA. The trip home with our 1998 Ford Explorer convinced us we needed a new tow vehicle.
